2016年10月11日，由中国电工技术学会和许继集团有限公司共同主办的、全球华人电气与能源领域科技人员期盼的“2016全球华人电气与能源工程师大会暨能源互联网装备技术高峰论坛”在京隆重召开。来自欧美、亚太、非洲等国家和地区的华人专家、学者，来自国内电气与能源领域的专家、学者、行业高端用户、企业家和知名人士等300多人出席大会。大会围绕全球电气技术发展、能源结构调整和能源互联网装备技术进行了交流、研讨、对接。
